A blog post related to my studies at the Eindhoven University of Technology this time. For my final masters project I'm interested in the exploration of the urban environment. How can we explore cities beyond the well known tourist attractions? How does the experience change if we go our own way? And how can I support this?
For this I've currently made an iPhone app (prototype) and I'm looking for people who would like to test this. I'm especially looking for people who can use it in an environment they don't know (well) yet. This could be a holiday or bussiness trip far away, but also somewhere close you want to explore more. It doesn't really matter where you are or where you're going to use it, as long as you are exploring the unknown... :)
For the test I would like to ask you to go exploring with the app a few times, send the data in and discuss your comments and experiences (if necessary through email/skype). Depending on how the project goes there may be more iterations of the app.
I'm looking to do test between now and the end of 2012, iPhone only at the moment. If you're interested or know someone who might be, please let me know!
